Hellas

Hellas is the Greek name for Greece and means home of the Hellenes. Things related to Hellas are Hellenic. 

This geocultural province includes today's Greece, Albania, Serbia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, as well as Cyprus, Crete, and all those small islands littering the Aegean. 

Boundaries

North: the Danube River.

To the north: Dacia.

East: the Black Sea, Bosporus, Sea of Marmara, Dardanelles, and Aegean Sea.

To the east: the Black Sea, Anatolia.

South: Aegean and Ionian seas.

To the south, across the seas: Egypt. 

West: Ionian and Adriatic Seas, Lim and Drina rivers. 

To the west: Latium.

Primary: Athens, Constantinople
